From a bungalow loft space in 1994, we now operate from a dedicated warehouse in Eastbourne, East Sussex, and have refurbished over 500,000 computers to benefit charities & schools, all proceeds raised aid development
A different approach to waste
Computer reuse & recycling hadn't really been invented in 1994! But for CFC, the notion of computer reuse was obvious. Instead of binning older computers, we suggested companies change their habits and donate to enable a second life, whilst reducing landfill waste

When we started Computers for Charities back in 1994, we had a simple but powerful vision: to pioneer tech recycling and reuse in the UK, specifically to help charities, voluntary groups and the communities they serve. What began as a local project has grown into something much bigger - we're now making a worldwide impact.
